The flats were created by splitting a larger apartment into two smaller ones. The apartments have an area of 35.00 sqm and 25.00 sqm and are located on the 6th floor of a typical urban apartment building located in the area of Faliro, built in the late 1960s. They consist of living room, bedroom and bathroom and are fully autonomous and independent.
The result emerged after a detailed analysis of anthropometric figures, aim of which was the best utilization of available space in all dimensions. The above, in combination with the proper functional organization, led to the construction of two really small apartments, but with comfortable spaces,
both visually and functionally.
Clean lines and earthy textures / shades are dominant in the interiors. For the flooring, the architect’s
choices were gray mosaic and white marble tiles, while the color palette of custom made furniture
sets on wooden (oak), white and gray surfaces.
We installed new electrical / plumbing fixtures and autonomous gas heating systems. Synthetic frames with double energy glazing were installed in the openings. Finally, a thermal insulation shell was constructed for the overall energy upgrade of the apartments.
The mobile equipment/furniture is from Foiros Home, while the equipment and decoration used in the photoshooting is from IKEA Greece, JYSK and H&M HOME. The photoshooting was made by Spyros Karvounis.
