Residential
The apartment is located on the 1st floor of an apartment block built in 1962 in Nea Paralia district and occupies an area of 90.00 sq.m. It consists of an open plan living-dining area and a “semi-separate” kitchen with an island that also works as a quick food counter. It also has 2 bedrooms with large closets, a spacious bathroom and a separate laundry – storage room.
The layout of the apartment allowed several different solutions, even the creation of a 3rd bedroom. At the end, however, the design team chose this configuration, in order to create more comfort in all spaces.
The color palette moves between white, gray and warm wooden surfaces. Gray glossy granite tiles (120×60 cm) were chosen for the floors of the main spaces, while oak parquet tiles were selected in the bedrooms. The bathroom is dominated by white shades with Carrara type tiles. All tiles and sanitary ware are from Lazaridis Ceramics. The lighting is in daylight tones, with hidden LED strips in various places (entrance furniture – closets – kitchen).
A new, autonomous, gas heating system and PVC frames with double energy glazing were installed, in order to upgrade the energy consumption of the apartment. Finally, our company constructed new electrical and plumbing installations, a 2-zone alarm system and aircondition pre-installation in all spaces. The equipment and decoration used in the photographs are from IKEA Greece, JYSK and H&M HOME. The photoshooting was made by Spyros Karvounis.
