Residential
The apartment is located in an amazingly beautiful listed building, steps away from the church of Hagia Sophia. It has a surface of 130.00 sqm and consists of entrance hall, living room-dining room, 3 bedrooms, separate kitchen and bathroom with WC.
During the design process, architect Constantinos Matheas, decided to maintain the existing layout as it perfectly matched the needs of its new owners.
For the floorings he selected a natural oak parquet floor, which stops only inside the kitchen, where large “terrazzo” tiles were installed. The bathroom and the WC combine Volakas marble tiles with extensive use of gray cement mortar.
Kitchen, like most furniture, was designed and manufactured specifically for the apartment, requiring the careful coordination of a number of suppliers and manufacturers.
The existing wooden frames were replaced by identical double-glazed energy frames. An underfloor heating system with integrated gas and air conditioning system with thermostats in each room, was also installed. Finally, the entire electrical installation of the apartment is supported by a KNX remote access system.
